Update 8-30-2020 our skinderlop program is being discontinued. After the kittens out of my current skinderlop litters are raised my breeding adults will be spayed and placed in pet homes.

In 2009 I, Kristen Leedom of Scheherazadectz Cattery and Nancy Raber of Lecrislin Cattery founded the Skinderlop sphynx. Nancy Raber has been breeding award winning Scottish Folds for 30 plus years. We shared a vision of the hairless Sphynx and saw them with folded ears and began working toward making a dream a reality.

The Skinderlop is the deliberate hybrid of the Sphynx and Scottish Fold. The desired results being a hairless cat with folded ears, athletic in appearance, comical and smart, out-going and very affectionate that is a bit mischievousness. Skinderlops are intelligent, friendly cats that are agile and have personality plus. They respond well to being handled as they are very interactive, social cats. Some may feel that this is a controversial breed, but through perseverance and our ethics we feel it will be accepted with both TICA and CFA. We plan to take this breed eventually to championship levels. We are open to working with others to promote this breed.
